Beer Distributor Plans Sustainable Warehouse Operations with Extensive Employee Training Center

October 4, 2013 - Harbor Distributing, L.L.C., part of Reyes Beverage Group, announced today that it is, through its affiliated company Lone Oak – Huntington Beach, L.L.C., acquiring and renovating a vacant 493,319 square foot warehouse, set on 24.5 acres, in Huntington Beach to create a sustainable, state-of-the-art distribution center, complete with 50,000 square feet of cold storage area.

Once extensive renovations are complete, anticipated to be in the summer of 2014, Harbor will move sales and operations from its Santa Ana and Anaheim distribution centers to the new warehouse, training center and office space at 5901 Bolsa Avenue. The company will continue to operate its Gardena distribution center separately.

Tom Reyes, President of Harbor, said, “Moving into the Huntington Beach facility enables us to accommodate our growing sales, better service the breweries we represent with increased cold storage and create training, wellness and fitness centers for our employees.

Harbor sells and delivers 21 million cases of beer from brewers such as Anchor, Ballast Point, Boston Beer, Crown Imports, Diageo, Dogfish Head, Firestone Walker, Green Flash, Heineken, Lagunitas, New Belgium, MillerCoors, and Sierra Nevada to nearly 6,000 customers across Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

Delivering on the company’s objectives to grow its business and develop its people while adding value to its suppliers’ and customers’ bottom line, the site will include a world-class training center and will function as Reyes Beverage Group’s West Coast shared service center.
