Celebrating 50 Years — And Just Getting Started

Fifty years ago, Chris and Jude Reyes started Reyes Holdings with a Schlitz beer distributorship in Spartanburg, South Carolina. At the time, 12 employees served a single small market and distributed just a handful of brands. Today, Reyes Holdings comprises three business units – Reyes Beverage Group, Martin Brower, and Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling – and proudly employs 36,000 people who serve more than 216,000 customers across 48 U.S. states and 18 countries, delivering 1.3 billion cases annually.

This growth reflects decades of hard work, shared values, and trust earned one relationship at a time. While the business has evolved significantly since its early days, the principles that mattered on day one continue to guide the company today – hiring good people, treating everyone with respect, and always striving to do what is right.
