Reyes Academy: Celebrating 10 Years

As Reyes Academy celebrates its 10th anniversary, the true measure of its impact can be seen in the employees who put their learning into practice every day. Dedicated to improving transportation and distribution operations across the Reyes Family of Businesses (RFB), the team at the Academy has spent the past decade helping employees strengthen their skills, work safer and improve performance.

Since 2016, more than 10,000 RFB employees have participated in over 22,000 Reyes Academy courses, workshops and certification programs. This anniversary milestone reflects the Academy's commitment to continuous learning, with many participants returning throughout their careers to build new skills and expand their expertise.

Today, a team of 20 members supports Reyes Academy programming across the country. The Academy is also supported by instructors, many of whom are former drivers who bring firsthand experience and practical insights to the classroom.

With a main campus in Southern California, Reyes Academy’s reach extends through satellite locations and mobile learning. A key example is Reyes Academy Mobile (RAM), which delivers hands-on instruction at RFB facilities nationwide. Today, three mobile units serve facilities across the country. This year alone, the program has trained more than 2,075 employees at 61 facilities.

Offering both in-person and virtual learning opportunities, Reyes Academy's most impactful programs include Blind Spot Awareness, Behavior-Based Driving Awareness and simulator-based training that helps employees safely navigate realistic driving scenarios.
