The Third Annual Reyes Rodeo took place last week in Fredericksburg, Virginia at Reyes Academy, our Reyes Family of Businesses driver training facility. The Rodeo is a joyous event that brings together 72 professional drivers, warehouse workers and fleet technicians from across the enterprise in a series of skills-based competitions. Participants compete in three events:
Written test based on industry standards
Pre-trip inspection of equipment, identifying potential issues, flaws or hazards
Skills competition navigating a course of obstacles and unique challenges

The Reyes Rodeo is a shining example of our culture at the Reyes Family of Businesses - sharing best practices, striving for continuous improvement and enjoying friendly competition between teammates. It's the first event of its kind for the enterprise, bringing employee representatives from all business units across the nation together in one large celebration. Participants are also able to bring a guest and enjoy the welcome dinner, events and closing ceremonies with a spouse, family member or loved one to make it even more special.
