Martin Brower Australia opened its Brisbane North Distribution Center (DC) in 2025, a key step in building smart, sustainable supply chains to support McDonald’s restaurants across Queensland. Located in the Brisbane Airport Precinct, the facility serves 128 restaurants from Southbank Brisbane to Cairns, with weekly shipments averaging 92,000 cases and annual volume reaching 4.4 million cases.
The 886,111 sq. ft. DC employs 48 people and manages delivery routes ranging from two miles (3.2 km) to more than 1,054 miles (1,696 km), ensuring timely and reliable service across a wide geographic area.
Sustainability is a core focus of the DC’s design. It is a 5 Green Star as-built facility that features a 625 kW rooftop solar system and rainwater capture and recycling systems. It is expected to operate on 100% renewable electricity by 2026. These initiatives reflect Martin Brower Australia’s commitment to reducing environmental impact while maintaining operational efficiency.
The DC also provides a safe, collaborative work environment that combines modern operational design with employee-focused spaces. As part of Martin Brower Australia’s network of seven distribution centers employing over 600 people and serving more than 1,000 restaurants, Brisbane North DC plays an important role in supporting the company’s supply chain capabilities.
This new DC reflects Martin Brower Australia’s continued investment in innovation, efficiency and sustainability.
